Angela Kennedy was elected to Place 1 on the Buda City Council in November 2013 after serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering. She also holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Environmental and Natural Resources Engineering, and Biochemistry. She has over 15 years’ experience as a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas specializing in Environmental Engineering and Water Resources Planning.
Currently, Councilmember Kennedy represents the City of Buda on the CAPCOG (Capitol Area Council of Governments) Clean Air Coalition.
She has been a resident of Buda since 2008 with her husband Jay, two elementary aged sons Oliver and Augie, and step-daughter Quinn.
