13th Annual Trail of Lights - In-Person Event

The biggest event of the holiday season is just around the corner! Join us in celebrating the holidays and show off your creativity by registering for a space at the 13th Annual Trail of Lights in Historic Stagecoach Park.  We are extremely excited to bring back the in-person version of Trail of Lights for the 2021 Season! We accept businesses, organizations, and other groups who enjoy creating and designing holiday light displays. Please see below the various ways to become involved!
 
If your business and/or organization would like to have a display, please read the details below and register by Monday, Nov. 22. Set up will begin Nov. 8 and end on Dec. 5.


Free Display Details:


  • Display space is FREE and electricity is provided (via one extension cord) 
  • Spaces are approximately 20’ X 20’.  Please note: decorations must be sturdy enough to withstand changeable outdoor weather which may include strong winds and rain.
  • Since one electrical plug is provided (extension cord), it is required that you use LED lights for your display.  This will allow you to have up to 2,500 individual lights plugged-in depending upon display configuration and products used.  We strongly encourage you to have as many lights as possible in your display and we reserve the right to require more lights to be added to a display. Participants not cooperating with event rules will be required to remove their displays. 
  • Distribution of flyers, brochures, business cards, or other promotional items will not be allowed.
  • Displays will be judged by the seniors on Senior Citizen Night and the City will place a sign at the winners display for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best exhibits.
  • The City of Buda is providing lighting along the entire pathway and other areas in the park. Since Santa will already be visiting children at Trail of Lights, we will not allow a participant to bring another live Santa for their display

Sponsorship Opportunities and Benefits:


 
Support this year's Trail of Lights by becoming a sponsor! By sponsoring this event, you are helping us provide a free, holiday event for residents of Buda and the surrounding areas while also promoting your business or organization. The sponsorship registration and payment deadline is Nov. 22If you would like to have a display at Trail of Lights, the setup will begin on Nov. 8 and end on Dec. 5.
 
Sponsor Sneak Peek Night: To show our sponsors how much we appreciate their help, we will be hosting a Sponsor Sneak Peek Night on Dec. 9 from 6-10 p.m. On this night, sponsors will be able to experience Trail of Lights and view the displays in a more private setting before the event is open to the public. You don't want to miss out on this!
  

  • Star Sponsor: $1,500+ 
    1. 6 VIP parking passes 
    2. Choice of exhibit location on the trail along with a sign that identifies you as a sponsor (participation is optional) 
    3. Business logo will be displayed at the event on the banner, posted on social media sites, emailed to various city databases, placed on City websites and more. 
    4. Name announcements during event 
    5. Tickets to attend the 2021 Sponsor Sneak Peek Night on December 9th
  • Mistletoe Sponsor: $1,000-$1,400
    1. 4 VIP parking passes 
    2. Choice of exhibit location on the trail along with a sign that identifies you as a sponsor (participation is optional) 
    3. Business logo will be displayed at the event, posted on social media sites, emailed to various city databases, placed on City websites and more 
    4. Name announcements during event 
    5. Tickets to attend the 2021 Sponsor Sneak Peek Night on December 9th 
  • Tinsel Sponsor: $500-$900
    1. 2 VIP parking passes 
    2. Choice of exhibit location on the trail along with a sign that identifies you as a sponsor (participation is optional) 
    3. Business logo will be displayed at the event, posted on social media sites, emailed to various city databases, placed on City websites and more 
    4. Name announcements during event 
    5. Tickets to attend the 2021 Sponsor Sneak Peek Night on December 9th
  • Sleigh Bell Sponsor: $100-$400
    1. Opportunity to display a yard sign with business logo as the presenting sponsor for one the displays made by the Parks Department
