CITY OF BUDA GEARING UP FOR 39TH ANNUAL BUDAFEST
BUDA, TX — The City of Buda is gearing up for the 39th Annual Budafest celebration! Admission to Budafest is free, so bring the whole family. Walk the festival grounds and behold the art of glassblowing, catch local performers, snag a picture with Santa and say hi to him as he rides down Main St. on the fire truck during the lighted parade, or walk your dressed up dog in the Reindog Parade--all for free!

Lighted Parade: This lighted, nighttime parade goes directly through the heart of Downtown Buda. Watch as community organizations decorate their floats to bring out the spirit of the holidays. The parade ends with a fireworks show where Santa Claus will count down with all the parade goers and kick-off the beginning of the holidays in Buda, Texas! The parade takes place Saturday, Dec 1 at 6:30 p.m. and will travel down Main Street from Buda Mill and Grain Co. to Buda City Park.
Reindog Parade: Dogs from all around will gather to trot down the street in their best holiday costumes and outfits. The pet-parent of the most festive dog will win a prize! The Reindog Parade will take place on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2:00 PM to kick-off the festivities.
Craft Vendors: Craft vendors from all across Texas will display their merchandise and hand-made wares for you to explore and discover the perfect unique gift for your loved ones this holiday season.Hours: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Saturday, Dec. 1 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Sunday, Dec. 2

Pictures with Santa: Get pictures of the kids with Santa and Mrs. Claus taken in the Basil Anthony Moreau Memorial Building (former Buda Public Library) for the perfect holiday picture to include in your holiday card to your family and friends.Hours: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Saturday, Dec. 1 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Sunday, Dec. 2

Annual Book Sale: Join the Friends of the Buda Library for their Annual Book Sale just in time for the holidays! Shop a wide variety of gently used books at incredibly low prices while supporting the Buda Library. This year, the book sale will be held at the Municipal Complex at 405 E. Loop St.
