Movies in the Park – Every Friday, June 2012 – Buda City Park
Enjoy concerts under the pavilion or watch family-friendly movies under the stars. Seating is on the grass/concrete, so bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks for comfort. Concessions will be available. Free admission. Movie dates are 6/3, 6/17, 6/24, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, and 7/29. Movies begin at 9:00 p.m. Concert dates are 6/10 and 8/5. Concerts begin at 8:00 pm;
Red, White n Buda – July 4, 2012 – Buda City Park
A celebration of patriotism observed across the USA and held in Downtown Buda. This celebration includes a morning children’s parade and evening live music. Scheduled events include a Children’s Parade at 10am (line up begins at 9:30am) in the parking lot across from Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant on Main Street and ends at City Park. Decorated bikes, wagons, scooters, strollers and more. Free Children’s activities and a magician from 10am – Noon. Then join us at 6pm at City Park for the concert. Musical Lineup includes: Keith Kelso, Kevin Smith and headliner “The Trishas”.
Fire Fest Texas – September – October 2012 – Buda City Park
Join us as we honor Texas firefighters with events including Firefighter Challenges, Kids Firefighter Challenge, BBQ Cook-Off and a Texas Music Festival. This event is a time- honored tradition, honoring firefighters in Central Texas for over 51 years, and with more than 10,000 Texans attend annually to honor our Texas heroes.

Fine Arts Festival – October 2012 – Buda City Park
The Buda Fine Arts Festival (BFAF) is a two day free festival of over 50 juried fine artists; kids interactive art tent; art demos, music; local student art displayed; silent art auction benefitting students from Hays CISD with scholarships entering higher education in the field of art; and includes a quilt show at City Hall. The event will be October 22 from 10AM-6PM and October 23 from 10AM-4PM.

Boo-Da Halloween – October 27, 2011 – Downtown Buda
Downtown Buda serves as a safe and fun opportunity for children to trick-or-treat for Halloween and includes Halloween stories, crafts, games and more Halloween fun at the Buda Public Library.
Budafest – December 3 & 4, 2011 – Downtown Buda
Held the first full weekend in December, this festival is sure to put you in the holiday spirit, including a Christmas parade, entertainment, carnival, and over 125 artisans selling handcrafted items of every type – jewelry, candles, holiday decorations, salsas, woodcraft’s, pottery, and soaps – to name but a few. Children can also visit and take pictures with Santa.

Buda Trail of Lights – December 14 -21, 2011 – Historic Stagecoach Park, Buda
