Buda Sportsplex
The Buda Sportsplex is the City of Buda’s newest 52 acre park. The park was dedicated on Valentine’s Day 2009. The Sportsplex was a Buda Economic Development Corporation project and is now owned and maintained by the City of Buda. The park features a lengthy trail system, a fishing pond, a large playground, a xeriscape and plenty of open parkland. The park also has a pavilion, four softball/baseball fields and four recreational fields onsite that can be rented for private use. The Sportsplex has restroom facilities onsite as well as picnic tables, benches, trash cans and water fountains for public use. The park is equipped with water and electricity. The park sits adjacent to the Hays Communities Family Branch YMCA and Dahlstrom Middle School off Buda Sportsplex Dr. near FM 967 and FM 1626. The annual Easter Egg Hunt is held at the park.
