Fleet Maintenance
The Fleet Maintenance Department services and repairs all City of Buda trucks and equipment. The City fleet includes everything from lawn mowers to earth movers. Jimmy DeWitt oversees the shop and maintenance repairs. The goal of fleet maintenance is to strive to maintain City vehicles and equipment in order to avoid interruption of City services due to vehicle and equipment breakdowns.
Major Activities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair
- Evaluate and modify vehicle and equipment after minor accident damage
- Coordinate repair work contracted to outside commercial vendors
