Tourism

Buda, located in the Hill Country region of Texas and 17 miles south of Austin along the I-35 corridor in beautiful Hays County, is one of the fastest growing communities in Texas. Tastefully Texan, a vibrant downtown of unique restaurants and shops mix with the intricate architecture of historic buildings that juxtapose a rich history.

If you’re looking for crafts, antiques, or food Main Street (Historic Downtown District) is the place. An interesting collection of shops, restaurants and businesses, anchored by a variety of historic sites, make Downtown Buda just perfect for strolling. Visitors can also enjoy historic Stagecoach Park that boasts an array of amenities including hike and bike trail, wildflower meadow, and serves as an excellent place to observe native wildlife or enjoy sporting events at Buda Sportsplex. For those seeking culinary adventures should visit Jardine Foods, who, since 1979, has been producing premium-quality Texas-style salsas, sauces, and other fine foods.
