Proposition 3 - Streets
HDR & Klotz have presented the results of preliminary design findings and recommended alternatives to City Council and Buda Bond Advisory Committee.
They are currently negotiating supplements for the second phase of design (Final Design) on Old Goforth Road, San Antonio Street and the intersection of Main / RM 967.

HDR and Klotz are also negotiating a supplement for the Main Street project for additional traffic modeling and analysis to identify additional methods of increasing capacity without adding pavement width in the area of the large oak trees.

Proposition No. 4 – Drainage
The final version of the Preliminary Engineering Report was submitted to HDR.  HDR is performing a final review before submitting final version to the City.  HDR is negotiating scope and fee with Freese and Nichols on the Final Design task order for this proposition.

Proposition No. 5 – Parks and Trails
Parks and Trails Maintenance Building – The guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the maintenance building will be presented to City Council on April 19, for approval by ECM and JB Construction.  Upon approval, the construction documents will be finalized and submitted to the City’s code compliance reviewer for approval.  JB Construction will issue their subcontracts and the procurement of long lead items will begin.
The Proposition 5 Advisory Committee toured Blue Hole Park in Wimberley on April 16 to see how Design Workshop planned and designed that park and to give them an idea of the potential of what could be planned at the newly purchased parkland.  On April 20, the monthly Parks Commission meeting will be held.  On April 25, the Parks Commission, Prop 5 Advisory Committee, and Design Workshop will be meeting to re-prioritize the established parks projects and provide direction to Design Workshop to continue forward with design.
